This is a warm, inviting cocktail that combines the smooth richness of bourbon with the bright, zesty flavor of orange and the sweet, spicy kick of cinnamon. This infusion is great on the rocks or as the base bourbon in an Old Fashioned or Manhattan.

Make sure the bourbon is at room temperature. Wash and dry the cinnamon sticks and oranges. Using a fine zester or a peeler, zest the oranges — either finely or in wide strips. Avoid the bitter white pith.

Place the orange zest and cinnamon sticks into a 1-pint CreamRight whipped cream dispenser. Pour in the bourbon or rye.

Seal the dispenser and charge with 1 Ultra-Purewhip N₂O charger. Swirl gently for 20–30 seconds to mix and activate the infusion. Let it sit upright for 1 additional minute.

Drape a towel over the head of the siphon and slowly release the gas to avoid splatter. Once fully depressurized, open the siphon and strain the infused bourbon through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a clean container.

Let the strained infusion sit for at least 5 minutes at room temperature to allow any residual gas to dissipate and flavors to settle.
