Cold brew coffee (standard strength or slightly diluted concentrate)
15-16 ml
Simple syrup or vanilla syrup (optional to sweeten)
1-2 ml
Fresh lemon or orange juice (optional for citrus brightness)
Sparkling Soda from CreamRight Soda Dispenser or Siphon
Ice cubes and fresh citrus wheel (orange or lemon) for serving
Instructions
1
Make sure the cold brew coffee, syrup, optional citrus juice, and CreamRight Fizi canister are thoroughly chilled before carbonating.
2
Cold liquids hold carbonation better than room-temperature liquids, so chill everything well for the cleanest sparkle.
3
Pour the cold brew coffee, syrup, and optional citrus juice into the CreamRight Fizi dispenser.
4
Do not fill past the max fill line, and do not add ice, citrus wheels, coffee grounds, or solid ingredients directly into the siphon.
5
Screw the siphon head on securely.
6
Insert one CreamRight Fizi 8g CO2 charger into the charger holder.
7
Screw the holder onto the siphon valve until you hear the gas release into the canister.
8
Shake the dispenser vigorously for 10 to 15 seconds to help the CO2 absorb into the chilled coffee.
9
Let it rest in the refrigerator for 2–3 minutes for a crisp, stable sparkle.
10
Fill a glass with fresh ice.
11
Hold the dispenser or siphon upright and press the lever gently to dispense the sparkling coffee over the ice.
12
Garnish with a fresh orange or lemon wheel and enjoy immediately!

Pro Tips & Equipment Notes: CO2 vs. N₂O: Standard whipped cream dispensers usually use N₂O (nitrous oxide) to create heavy cream foams or nitro-style smooth coffees. To get crisp, sparkling soda bubbles for a "Fizi Joe," you must use CO2 (carbon dioxide) chargers. Filter Your Coffee: Make sure your cold brew is thoroughly strained before pouring it into the dispenser. Fine coffee grounds can clog the siphon's valve mechanism.
